Each year in October, OLOL students and teachers work arduously to put together an outstanding Heritage Celebration in the main church where families and friends can witness amazing performances displaying the heritage and diversity of many countries. Albeit, somewhat different this year, at OLOL the heritage celebration goes on.
This year, Ms. Bolivar, Mrs. Tovar and Journalism/Broadcasting elective students have worked alongside our students and bring you the “Soaring Through Our Heritage” presentation. Students in each grade have been learning about their assigned countries, its heritage, customs, and important facts. To culminate our celebration, students all enjoyed a food tasting of their country while watching this year’s presentation. We thank our room parents for coordinating their class food tasting with the teachers.
We hope that you enjoy our “Soaring Through Our Heritage” Video.
